Believing that the climate of the Van Duzer Corridor could produce uniquely Oregon Pinot Noir and give voice to their site, Proprietors Carl and Marilynn Thoma were among the earliest families in 1998 to produce wine at the foothills of the Oregon Coastal Mountains. It was here that they established the first estate winery in what today is known as the Van Duzer Corridor AVA.
