Modus/Vicarious was founded in 2004 by Winemaker Jason Moore, who grew up in Dallas, fell in love with wine from working in fine dining in his teen years, moved to Napa and started the winery at age 26. Modus focuses on small quantities of single vineyard and experimental lot wines sourced from some of the most epic vineyards in Napa/Sonoma.
