Matthew Good

Matthew Good is a Colorado native from Gunnison, who has a strong focus on mountain cuisine. He attended culinary school at Colorado Mountain College, which placed him at restaurants such as Zach’s Cabin, Red Sky Ranch, Beano’s Cabin, Vin48, and the Sonnenalp. In 2011 he moved to Denver and started working for renowned Chef Richard Sandoval, and ran restaurants like Zengo, La Bibliotheca, and La Sandia as the Chef de Cuisine. After he married his wife, they moved back to Eagle County where Matt took over as Executive Chef at Bistro Fourteen, and then Mid-Vail/Express Lift Bar. After the birth of his son, he took a break from the restaurant world to work as the culinary director/executive chef at Roaring Fork Senior Living. Two years later he found he missed the restaurant life and took the job as the Executive Chef at the Charter in Beaver Creek where he currently oversees the Charter Steakhouse, and the Terrace.
